BMO pen pot

BMO pen/pencil pot from the show Adventure time by Pendleton Ward, made as a gift for a friend.

A bit rough as it's made from some very old dried out Sculpey Original that I should have just chucked in the bin, but I didn't want to waste it so decided to rehydrate it with some mineral oil which made it disgustingly soft, very hard to work with.... but never mind it turned out ok.

I built the Sculpey up around a wooden box that I nailed together with a bit of wire mesh wrapped around. Used a couple of rubber washers for the o where his arms connect and styrene sheet for the base.

His features are made from masking film painted black and varnished so you can change his expression by cutting out different shapes. I did want to use a white board marker to change his expression but it left traces on the varnish so wasn't suitable
