Mask making part 25

Description

Now I have to stick the loop side of Velcro to the masks. (I always use the soft loop side on the mask because if someone wants to remove the mesh or forehead pad they don't have the very rough hook side scratching at their face.

I don't like to just glue the mesh and pads onto the painted surface as it's not as strong as glueing it onto the resin underneath, so I mark where the Velcro pieces will sit on the back and then just sand away a little strip of the paint with my rotary tool and a sanding attachment.

Then FINALLY I can glue it all in! I normally use Araldite rapid or a two part epoxy glue as they are very strong.

The Harlequin skull masks are available to buy from my Etsy store here: www.etsy.com/uk/shop/Bakenekoy…
