Casting a gentleman slug in resin part 5

Description

1. Now I need to sort out his eye stalks. The Monster clay is too soft for my liking and as I'm going to be packing clay around them for this next mould I decided to remake the stalks out of wax instead (I'm using some Zen wax by Willow products). I've used the casting from earlier to model the eye stalks around so they're a really close fit.
2. Here I'm using Lego as my mould box, I use it quite often as it makes really precise shapes, you do get a little bit of seepage between the bricks but it's only a tiny amount.
I've built up some clay around the eye stalks and his cane making sure the clay is tight against the pieces. I've pushed some short lengths of drinking straws into the clay to form a channel for the resin, I'll use a syringe to inject it into the mould. It will fill the mould from the bottom up forcing any air out of the release holes at the top. I've also poked some holes into the clay to form the keys.
Make sure to remove any trace of clay from your sculpt, remember that silicone will pick up any detail.
3. Degassing silicon...
4. degassing silicone in the mould...
5. finished first half. Next I built up the Lego again and sprayed on some mould release.
6. second half poured, degassing...
