The last bit woohoo!
Straps.
I use leather straps and brass coated fittings (6 leather straps, 3 buckles, 30 rivets and an O ring.) The leather comes in a big strip that’s about 50” long. I mark out the corrects lengths and the positions of the rivet and buckle holes, then cut the leather and punch the holes.
Next is the noisy bit, riveting, must be done at a reasonable time when I'm not going to annoy my neighbours too much. I normally make about 6 of these masks at a time so that’s a lot of hammering.
I use a simple rivet tool and a hammer. You need to be careful you get these in the right place and your straps are the right way around before you hammer these in, they are so strong it's an absolute nightmare to remove them if you go wrong.
The Harlequin skull masks are available to buy from my Etsy store here: www.etsy.com/uk/shop/Bakenekoy…
